Cuzco, today a city in Peru, used to be the historical capital of the Inca Empire. The rectangular CUZCO carpet is inspired by the motifs used in Inca textiles, known for the combination of different geometric patterns. The rectangular CUZCO rug is made of hand-tufted dyed wool and shows a simplification of these patterns in different stripes of geometric shapes and lines, resulting in a sober but rhythmic composition.
