Your privacy is of great importance to Berlano. We therefore comply with the privacy law. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. Handling order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to be able to handle it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this we use your payment details, date of birth, name and address details, gender, IP address, e-mail address, telephone number and billing address. We need this because of the contract we conclude with you. We keep this information for up to 7 years after your order has been completed  (that is the legal retention obligation imposed on us by the tax authorities).

If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this or separately provided by you to contact you based on your consent, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR, to regularly send our e-mail newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link included in the newsletter for this purpose. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use data, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

When paying on account or in installments with an external payment provider

If you choose the Klarna payment methods, Klarna may perform a credit check itself or pass on the payment data collected for payment processing to an external credit institution. You can object to this at any time.

Provision to other companies or institutions
We will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if this is necessary for our webshop or if we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police if there is a suspicion of a crime). Social media buttons are included in our webshop. With this, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.

Our web store uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to fill it in every time. But we can also see that you visit us again.

When you visit our webshop for the first time, we will show a message with an explanation about cookies. If you continue on our website, we assume that you agree. You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some parts of our webshop may no longer work properly.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our web store. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. It contains strict agreements about what they are allowed to keep. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. We let Google anonymize the IP addresses. The statistics and data in Google Analytics are automatically deleted by Google after 26 months.

Security of personal data is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) with which all information between you and our website is protected when you enter personal data, so that your order can be processed safely.

Changes to this privacy statement
When our webshop changes, we must of course also adjust the privacy statement. So always keep an eye out for new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately.

Access, changes and deletes your data

  • access to the precise personal data we have
  • let errors be corrected
  • the removal of outdated personal data

If you think that we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority. This is called the Personal Data Authority.
